Washington College is located in Chestertown, a small, historic town on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The 120-acre campus is within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, residential neighborhoods, and the College's waterfront facilities on the Chester River. Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Philadelphia are a 75-minute drive from campus.
UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Although well-known for the balance among its 25 undergraduate majors in the Liberal Arts & Sciences, the College does have unique resources in Creative Writing and Behavioral Neuroscience. The Center for the Study of the American Experience and the Center for the Study of Environment & Society also add to the depth and breadth of the WC's academic offerings.
